4-H Rural Safety Fund

4-H Canada is proud to partner with CN to introduce the 4-H Rural Safety Fund as part of a shared commitment to building safer, stronger communities in rural Canada. The 4-H Rural Safety Fund exemplifies 4-H Canada and CN’s shared values and supports the development of responsible, engaged and contributing leaders in rural communities. Through this opportunity, we aim to: Engage and educate 4-H youth around creating safe environments. Provide resources for youth to become safety advocates in their communities. A total of $20,000 in funding will be available to support 4-H clubs, districts, regions and provincial offices. Funds must be used in the development of an activity, project or initiative that develops youth leadership, safety awareness and advocacy among 4-H youth and within the community. Successful applicants will receive $500-$2000 based on the merit and sustainable impact of the proposed project. The 4-H Rural Safety Fund is possible thanks to the generous support of CN and its commitment to community safety.
